Jean-Marie Leclercq

After his secondary studies in Latin-Greek, he graduated with a doctorate in law from obtained at the UCL followed by a master in taxation obtained at the ESSF.

After working part-time as an assistant at the UCL in tax law (2 years) and simultaneously as a tax manager at Arthur Andersen (7 years), he created Tax Consult at the end of 1981.

He got involved in numerous tax seminars at CEPAC (ULB) and at ING bank. He has been a member (chartered accountant and tax advisers) of the I.E.C as from the creation of this Institute and obtained the additional “external administrator” certification in 2015.

Marie-Lise Swinne

After working for 6 years in the Tax Department of Arthur Andersen, Marie-Lise joined Tax Consult in 1996 and became a partner in 2006. She is now head of the Corporate Tax Department. She has a special affinity for group taxation as well as for mergers and acquisitions.

Marie-Lise holds a master's degree in law, business law and tax law. She has been a member (chartered accountant and tax advisers) of the I.E.C as a tax advisor since 2002 and obtained the additional “external administrator” certification in 2016.

Philippe Claeys

Philippe started his career as a tax consultant at Tax Consult in 1992. He became partner in 2007 and is in charge of Business Development.

He obtained a Master’s degree in Tax Management in 1991 from the VLEKHO Institute, followed by a training in international tax law at URSIA in 1995.

He regularly organises seminars on various tax matters.

Philippe has been a member (chartered accountant and tax advisers) of the I.E.C as a tax advisor since 2002.

Joël de Maere d'Aertrycke

Joël de Maere d'Aertrycke

After working for 12 years with various international consulting firms, Joël joined Tax Consult in 2007 and became a partner in 2008.

He holds a law degree (UCL - 1993) and an additional degree in taxation (KUL - 1994). He has been a member (chartered accountant and tax advisers) of the I.E.C as a tax advisor since 2001.

Joël specialises in optimising executives’ remunerations, especially in the conceptualisation and implementation of stock option plans and other incentive equity schemes. His clients include international companies(listed and unlisted), banks and financial institutions, private equity investment funds as well as Belgian and foreign lawyers' associations. 

He has led various tax seminars and is the author of various articles, published in specialised journals.

Kris Vanhinsbergh

Kris started her career at Tax Consult in 2000 and was appointed Accounting and Auditing Department Manager in 2008.

She became a partner in 2009 and has managed the Accounting and Auditing Department ever since.

Kris holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting-Taxation and a Master’s degree in Commercial Sciences. She has been a member (chartered accountant and tax advisers) of the I.E.C as accounting-tax adviser since 2006 and has been, in 2013, appointed “Quality Auditor” by the I.E.C.

Luc Lamy

Luc Lamy

As a law graduate from the University of Liège (1993), and holder of a specialisation in taxation and accounting control from the Vlerick School Voor Management (1994), Luc is head of the HR Tax & International Mobility at Tax Consult and Chairman of the Global Mobility Group within the Alliott Group.

Luc started his career in 1994 in the Personal Tax Department at Arthur Andersen. After 15 years in the “BIG 4” environment, he joined Tax Consult and has been appointed partner in 2011. Luc is an expert in personal taxation in a Belgian and international environment. He brings assistance to his clients covering all matters relating to executives including taxation, social security, pensions, optimisation of end of contracts/careers, incentive plans.

Luc regularly organises seminaries and collaborates in specialised journals. He has been a member (chartered accountant and tax advisers) of the I.E.C as a tax advisor.
